Can I assign unique codes for each guest or tenant?

Yes. Temporary codes can be generated for each guest and automatically expire after a set period.

How do I revoke access if needed?

Access can be revoked instantly via the Vault app if you are at the property. Alternatively you can remotely revoke access with a wifi bridge (using our Vault G5 Gateway product), ensuring security at all times. This includes when you have integrated to a Booking platform such as Air bnb and the guest cancels through the platform, their access codes will be automatically revoked saving admin time.

Can I manage multiple properties from one account?

Yes. Vault’s platform allows you to monitor and control multiple properties from a single dashboard. You will need the Vault G5 Gateway. Easy lock can have their own custom name for ease of management. 

Do guests need to download an app?

Not necessarily. Guests can use PINs or codes without downloading the Vault app, making check-in seamless. Owners can also choose to add as many additional admins on each lock via the Vault app, allowing guests to have access to only the locks that you choose. Access can be revoked by the owner at any time.

What happens if a guest is locked out?

Using the Vault G5 Gateway, you can remotely unlock the door through the Vault app or provide a temporary access code instantly.

Does Vault keep access logs?

Yes. All entries are logged in real time (with a Vault G5 Gateway and when you have paired the Vault App with your lock), providing accountability and transparency for every property.

Can Vault smart locks integrate with Airbnb and other booking platforms?

Yes. Vault integrates with major booking platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, and Guesty through our integration partners. Once connected, digital access codes are automatically created when a booking is confirmed and expire after checkout - no manual setup required.

How does the booking integration work?

After linking your booking platform account to the Vault App, each confirmed reservation automatically triggers the creation of a unique access code. This code is sent to the guest along with their booking details and is automatically revoked after their stay ends.

Is guest access still possible if my property isn’t connected to a booking platform?

Absolutely. You can still issue temporary access codes or digital keys directly through the Vault App. Integration simply automates this process for convenience.

Do I need the Vault G5 Gateway for booking integrations to work?

Yes. The Vault G5 Gateway enables Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing Vault to sync in real time with booking platforms. Without it, access codes must be created manually via Bluetooth through the app.
